Full Circle is a not-for-profit organisation based in Cardiff, and we host an annual event ‘Keeping It Equal’ to encourage girls and young women to consider non-traditional jobs and career paths. Following the success of the event in 2015 we are returning to the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport on Friday 29th April for the biggest careers event for girls ever hosted in Wales, and we welcome you to join us.

The event will bring together up to a thousand girls aged 11-25 from across South Wales and the West of England to build girls’ aspirations for the future, promote gender equality, and inspire young women to consider a wider range of jobs and careers, particularly in non-traditional roles. We’re very passionate about promoting non-traditional roles to girls, and games development seems a perfect fit – something teens would understand, but potentially a lot of girls would not see as being something for them.

The event will include presentations and Q&A panels with inspiring women role models; a huge activity zone where girls can get a hands-on experience of a wide range of careers; exhibitions and information on careers advice; and the launch of our manifesto for girls in Wales.

There are lots of ways to get involved, including:

– Providing a hands-on activity to girls (no cost)
– Reserving an exhibition space to engage with girls/schools (£100 + VAT for non-profit organisations; £250 + VAT for commercial & public sector organisations)
– Sponsoring the event from as little as £300 (more information attached)
– Providing staff to volunteer on the day
