upstairs in Tiny Rebel Cardiff, 25 Westgate Street, Cardiff CF10 1DD.
Our usual monthly meet up in Cardiff IS MOVING! From 6:30pm on Wednesday 25th October we’ll be upstairs at Tiny Rebel Cardiff. The occasion for the move is because this month it’s not just a meet-up – we’ll be giving people the chance to pitch their ideas for GWJam 2017. In addition to this, we’re going to hold two talks to help inspire you!
- Ideas, Iteration and the Power of Paper – Steve Sparkes
This will be a talk about testing ideas and paper prototyping, useful not just for GWJam games, but regularly made games!
- How Game Jams Changed My Life – Gary Kings
Gary Kings (2000:1; Murder on the Disorient Express) will be doing a talk about how games he made in game jams led on to getting published.
Post talks, we’ll have the usual chat about gaming and the opportunity to dissect and share thoughts on other people’s GWJam ideas. If you have anything you want to show, bring it along too!
